There are a few Facebook groups for example DetectNZ but not aware of any clubs now. There was a group that was meeting monthly in Chch but don’t know if still going.

Yes there is about 3 or 4 groups on face book that are in NZ .

There used to be a club in Auckland a few years ago but they folded after no one wanted to go on the committee. Sadly many of the members were getting on and the same people were on the committee.
Te Tahi Metal Detecting Club, used to put out a monthly newsletter, which I have kept. Some neat finds over the years.
