I had a similar experience but mine was from South Africa.
same guy. hes a bit of a con man and told lots of folk lots of different stories, he came across as genuine and wasnt untill strange occurances and 1 to many far fetched stories before he was found out… then a simple google search answered everything and turned out everything was a complete lie and thank god no money had changed hands by then.
Looks like I dodged a bullet.
Im glad you didn’t lose any money man.
I think these forums can also be positive in that fact that word travels quickly if something dodge is up
