A great movie to watch about Bad King John is the movie called ‘Ironclad’ - it is based on King Johns siege of Rochester Castle and the interesting manner in which he eventually captured it…thanks to forty pigs!
Today the castle is an amazing place and would be well worth a visit as it is still there with extremely impressive ruins.
