2 silver coins to start the year with, a 1934 6p & 1941 florin. Biest Button is Aluminum I think. It appears that I only find florins in January- its been 353 days since my last silver Florin.

big silver seems to be scarce everywhere.
Went to the Beach of 1000 Chinese Coins for the 3am extra low tide. Grid marks on the dry sand showed someone had beaten me there. Saltwater Eels in the knee deep water were being attracted to my head torch and the drunks yelling abuse from the beach really didn’t add much to the experience. Went home 70cents richer.

At the Beach of 1000 Chinese Coins, nice bit of storm erosion created a coin line of cruddy spendies and those annoying prayer tokens.
Cross looks like junk.
$ is a Fidget spinner.
Left the prayer tokens in the care of a Pohutakawa to save next detectorist from digging them.
Nice way to start the day.
