I would be interested to hear of secondhand offers to sell one of these (to me). Or of a quality other brand with GPS mapping capability.
Depending on what GPS functions you are looking for, I just carry a cheap Etrex 10 in my pocket. Tight tracking on the coast and simple press and hold on a button to mark a WP.
I have a handheld gps but I want a machine that logs hits, more transparency less questions and not open to error. I just think the brand new price is, given a hand held gps is a few hundred dollars, not really adding up. I don’t need a super powerful machine, I need a transparent hit and mapping system.
