scored a halfcrown today scarce find these days but scratched it on extraction, coin was in the hole with a piece of iron and i pinpointed on the iron and this put the coin off to the side of the plug,i should have made sure the signal point was where it was pinpointing and not off to the side,it always happens on the good stuff,good luck.

Itis still a good find and every now and again these things do happen. Better to give it a minor scratch than not find it!
