The last time I was in AU I met up with these things. The snake is a brown and about 3ft long. I never realized how fast they can move the spider is a Golden Orb. You just about need wire cutters if you get into their web

I have been toying with the idea of visiting friends in queensland and packing the SDC … thanks for giving me an excuse to scuttle that idea.
We don’t know how lucky we are, I would rather be in a forest where everything is wet and rotting including my socks, then in a place that looks like its itching to erupt into a bushfire and filled with giant critters hell bent on killing you.
