Some service kits don’t include the flap valve screws. They’re not listed on the included paper work either.
They are a “#6 machine screw” diameter 32 tpi (UNC)
Blacks has some but probably not many .
My advice ? Drill out and tap them to something metric or atleast something that comes in a jar from the hardware store
All the big bolts are 1/4 unc
Get the longest will fit through your base. With up to an inch of thread engagement. Commonly stripped / flogged out
All the countersunk screws are 3/16 unf
The shaft is 5/8 . 15.875 mm .
You can buy a meter from stainless products for $30. Or ill sell someone some off cuts if that’s easier
Mine is so old it has no key way for the pulley . Just grub screw divots that are rounded out
Originally they probably had a (imperial) 1623 for crank bearings.
Mine have been replaced with a 6202/ 15.875 .
So a metric bearing that is modified to fit 5/8 shaft
My main bearing has been replaced with a 6202 c3 skf explorer . It’s too big on the id and has been sleeved
I suspect the original main bearing is supposed to be
1 1/8 x 2 1/2 x 5/8 1652-ZZ 1 1/8
28.575 mm 2 1/2 63.5 mm
Surely getting all these in 2RS is better than the original “shielded” if you’re breathing it
Give ya plates a light sand on fine grit paper with plenty of lube on a flat piece of glass to make sure the seats for the reeds have good contact
Go be a blow hard ha ha
