Hi all. Has anybody here disassembled a swimjoy pump before? Could you tell me if the impeller unsrews from the main shaft or is it pressed on? Any info would be great. Shes an old unit but still works a treat👍

Hi Gold Standard they screw on… mine had a bit of wobble forward and back making me think it was a key or pressed on however when i finally got it off it had a threaded rod going into shaft and then a male thread coming out which threaded into impellor i will try and find some photos of when i had it in pieces

Thanks Tussock! I read they wete a copy of the keene 180 and that screws on as well. I had a go at unscrewing it, but thought Id ask here first, didnt want to push my luck and break something… Mine also has that kittle bit of slop. Cheers mste, thats certainly a golden reply, much appreciated
