It’s not a silly idea John. As you know, it’s not difficult. I’ll start making a few shortly, add the dream mat to them as that seams to be the current craze.

What you consider unusable may be quite satisfactory for the price to someone with some No 8 wire Kiwi knowhow mentality, even with their willy in hand, that could fix the issues you say you had. It’s ok mate, you will get over it.
