Pretty Much Says It All

Gold Fever

The fever got a hold of me when I was very young
And ever since it has held me in its grip so strong
I never fought against it I just let it consume
There is no cure for gold fever and no one is immune
The truth is that the fever has brought out the best in me
It has turned me into the person I was always meant to be
I am a gold miner also called a gold prospector
My life is on the goldfield with my metal detector
I have traveled many miles in the search of gold
Inspired by the old timers and the stories by them told
To me a nugget is never too big neither too small
No matter the size and shape I simply love them all
If you can not find me I am probably down by the creek trying my luck
Driven by a desire you can only know if you by the fever are struck
