I must admit, I’ve been biased towards gold so put it at the top. But there’s an option to let the forum organise the categories itself so they appear in order of popularity. Seems a fairer way to organise categories and very much depends on bulk of community itself. May turn that on now…
Hmm… not sure about that, less important categories have drifted to top because of activity, will leave it on for now. But might be better to promote main two categories manually to top - gold and coin & relic.

So the most important 2 are at the bottom 
I do like the way both gold and detecting are blending together, in the past being able to minimise one or the other I think causes separation
