thought i had just a widow head sixpence when i took this coin out of the ground but when i turned it over a beautiful piece of engraving came to life.never seen it before was well pleased,another silver locket and a nz sixpence followed.real easy digging ground is saturated.good luck

they must have but it does not look any thinner still has all its reeded edge
ive seen love tokens bent into S shapes but this is a fist,i would like to think it was made for a soldier going off to the first world war has got some years in circulation. maybe a silversmith here in ch.ch
