same process as for establishing any mining permit, the only saving grace is you want obstruct access to the minerals.

Hi Matt,there is a thread on here called "Lodge or transfer a claim "which has contact info on some agents who can help you with the application or you can do yourself(if you like paper work)or even approach someone in the group who has offered to help,especially if they have experience in your area.Permits are for 10 years with a fee on application and annual fee too.(not cheap).Someone here maybe able to research the history of your area on when and where it was mined back in the day and how rich it was.(if you ask nicely) …cheers mal
