Only managed to get to Maraetai Beach 1 hour before low tide Friday. A beach that is thrashed to death by all and sundry, that over past years has given me coins and rings, BUT this time…an Apostle teaspoon of all things!!! Shell encrusted and rather fragile. Must say it has been the most unusual find on that beach.
Photo of targets including trash before cleaning but taken after the clods of crud taken off the coins, and photo of targets cleaned. All were very deep except for the obvious.
Just goes to prove no beach is ever hunted out.
