Little help about suction nozzle,hoses and highbanker

I have a few new questions.

My proline hp 400 pump has finally arrived, and I’ll be using it with my honda gx200 engine.

I’m planning to build my own suction nozzle because buying one is quite expensive, and I have everything I need to fabricate it myself.

Would anyone be willing to share the dimensions of a suction nozzle that works well with this setup?

I’m also wondering whether the opening inside the suction nozzle should be reduced to increase water pressure, or if it should remain the same diameter throughout. If it does need to be reduced, what diameter would you recommend?

I also have a few questions about the rest of the setup:
What is the optimal hoses length for my setup?
What would be a good width and length for the highbanker to get the best performance from this setup?

Any advice or photos of similar builds would be greatly appreciated.

What size pressure line, i made a onga blazemaster with gx160 5.5hp pump into suction dredge, just used y shaped plumbing box for suction pressure mix reduced 50mm pressure line down to 16mm over about 200mm of length,using plastic plumbing stuff reduces 20mm shy of the junction and i have wikid suck ya fingers in at end of 8m 75mm hose at depth of 1.5m i actually have more suction the deeper i go , I was just proving concept knowing will have to make it all again in metal that was 5 months ago its holding up fine. Only trouble i have is 75mm hose is tight into mix box y shape thing blocks there sometimes when make in metal that be gone.whole unit owes me less than $1000 could easily go to 100mm suction hose. Bought pump 2nd hand $300 he said it wasnt running well,but the blazemaster pump was what i wanted cleaned carb no wonder wasnt go well its a bloody weapon now lol.

Yes reduced. Proline 400 usually reduce from 50mm to 25mm. The Keene P180 from 50mm to 20mm. I made mine 20mm.

Just to confirm that I understood correctly: with the Proline HP400, the pump draws water through a 3-inch inlet and discharges it through a 2-inch outlet. That 2-inch pressure hose is then reduced to a 1-inch jet on the suction nozzle. Is that correct?

Also, what is the inside diameter of the suction inlet (the opening where the material is drawn into the nozzle)?

Yes that is all correct. The suction nozzle intake is 100mm (4inch).
