Hydraulic Sluicing Monitors

I have an old Hydraulic sluicing monitor (Anderson & Morrison Dunedin ) that I’m setting up. Just for display purposes. I’m interested in making contact with other collectors who may have them or have spare parts or information and pictures on different manufacturers. I have quite a few different parts but they are mostly slightly different. Also Different manufacturers made them quiet different style monitors.
Interested in collecting close up pictures of different models.
Thanks

Took this photo of one on display outside a pub in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Hi, try talking to someone at Westland industrial heritage park. Some old fella might have one out the back.

Hi there Tony McCarthy. There is someone I haven’t seen or heard from in quite a while. I can’t help you with your request but have often thought how you are doing. Did you give that GP3000 much use?

Thank you I appreciate your interest in helping.
I have always been interested in Sluicing monitors as my Great Grand father and his sons used them on a family claim. In Earnscleugh Alexandra. In fact one night my Great Uncle went to check the monitor and didn’t come back for tea so i think it was my Grandfather went to check on him and found him dead drowned either blown over by the water pressure or by the bank caving in on top of him. There must have been quite a few that got blown over by the water pressure.
I have an early canvas bag type of hose that went onto a small hand held monitor and clamped onto a special flange fitting on a gate valve.
Then of course the later style sluicing monitors.
Thank you Tony

My grandfather told me that the big ones could rip a man in half, sounds very messy. Shantytown the tourist stop out of Greymouth may also be worth checking. I think they had working examples. If I come across as anything more I will post it. In
