I don’t recall him mentioning glaciation at all. That was the major contributing factor to the demolition of the mountains & gold bearing quartz reefs. Smashing & grinding them & freeing the gold & transporting it down country miles from its source & distributing it in the valleys, rivers & creek we know of today. With further erosion & placement from continued weathering from wind, rain & snow melt & land movement from faulting & folding & land slips. And so it goes on.

Another thing was that most of his footage wasn’t even the Shotover River. :thinking:

That was pretty poor really. But that seems to be what we get these days with false media & AI generated stuff.

Yeah, that one popped up on my algo but I was unimpressed by the lack of real Shotover footage.
