Has anyone here had experience trying to get a hobby claim in a senic reserve. Is a reserve what they call schedule four land ?
It seems that Nzpm would allow it but Doc would deny permission to access the land? I would ask Doc but the local office is like fort knox, you can’t just walk up and ask a question. Any insight appreciated cheers.
Im currently working on securing consent and the DoC access in a scenic reserve. Only lodged a few weeks ago but feedback so far is good. The ‘test’ is higher but achievable.

Try phoning them. I spoke to a sheila at DOC in Hoki last week, was very helpful, answered all my questions
