I occasionally use local heli companies out of Queenstown to drop me in the back country but costs have skyrocketed in the last 2 years. Most of these chopper’s are the bigger ones and are an overkill for lifting myself and a couple of packs of supplies in. Just wondered if anyone here knows of a more economical option, private owners or companies that do backloads etc? Any suggestions wouldbe welcomed.
