Gpx4500 for sale with aftermarket coil

Hi there. It may help to put up more photos so people can get a better idea on condition etc. What are you meaning by a microphone, are you meaning a signal booster enhancer or an external speaker? Cheers

Sorry kiwijw it would only let me put one up its just the normal speaker sorry will take 2700$ for it the new monster suits my style a lot better

Thanks buddy. I was just trying to give a bit of a nudge to help you get some interest in this. I have two 4500’s. A standard & a modified one. The modded one blew my socks off. Took it to Moonlight Creek, West Coast. Straight down the track from the Andersons car park to the most thrashed smashed up bedrock there. Within 5 minutes I snagged a bit of gold deep in a crevice that took a lot of smashing out to bring to the light of day.

I am picking that the speaker must be an after market speaker as the GPX’s never had a built in speaker & I am pretty sure Minelab didn’t have plug in speakers either. Just the headphones. But you could get speakers for them outside of minelab.

You should be able to up load more than one photo. $2700 is a reasonable price as they are a good detector. Will get gold a lot deeper than the Gold Monsters. I’m not sold on the new Goldmonster for the price. Took my 1000 for a walk yesterday & managed 19 bits for just .4 of a gram.

Looks bigger on the scales

This was off ground I waved the GPX 6000 over the day before with the Coiltek 10x5 Goldhawk coil. Got 3 bits but they were deeper than what the Gold Monster got But the GM got more weight in the 19 bits.

Good luck in selling your 4500.

What size is the nugget finder coil? You didn’t say. I am guessing the standard coils are the 11” mono & DD. What condition is every thing in? Battery still hold a good charge, includes 240 volt charger & car charger? This where more photos will help you out.

Cheers.

Were do I find this? Happy to send it via direct message

G’day mate. Serial number on underside of control box. In my case it is B1006964

There were Chinese counterfeit knock offs that visually look identical, unless you have a very sharp eye & know what to look for, which is likely why he is asking for the serial number. Minelab have a data base of their detectors so the serial number can be confirmed. I personally don’t see how even that could be trusted. What’s stopping the fakes from copying a serial number, bar code & all. Unless minelab have some other hidden secret sauce.

Nice gold too by the way. Personally I would keep it & use it in conjunction with your Gold Monster. They compliment each other with there individual strong/weak points. I take it you are using the GM in shallow creek bedrock situations as the 5” coil wont get great depth but deadly on the small/tiny stuff closish to the coil & great for negotiating tight spots. With gold around $250ish a gram these days the small stuff adds up pretty quick. The little coiltek 10x5 mono coil on the 4500 is a good creek set up or shallow ground but with a bit of depth punch. Mono’s have great edge sensitivity so very good at poking the nose into cracks & crevices & running the coil edge down 90 degree edges in the bed rock. DD coils not so good as their sensitive spot is down the center of the coil where the windings overlap & lack that edge sensitivity. The ML 11’ coils weren’t good for in water due to size & always fighting it wanting to float & get pushed around by any current.

Nuggetfinder made many sizes & shaped coils.

Best of luck out there.
