GPX 4500 For Sale

Hi guys.

The GPX 4500 is still a very capable detector with a million different coils you can plug & play with to cover all scenarios. Big coils, small coils. Round coils, & elliptical coils. Each one can be a game changer depending on size of gold, depth of gold & the ground conditions your detecting in. Like rough rocky broken ground as in among the old timer workings & rock piles , tussocky or long grass conditions, or nice open expanses of farm land or the high country open areas of Central Otago. The 4500 can punch deep.

Selling as I have a modded 4500, a GPX 6000 & a GPZ 7000, SDC 2300, Manticore, CTX 3030, Nox 800 & lets not forget the little Gold Monster 1000. Believe it or not I still use most of them at times depending on locations & conditions. Admittedly, not really a fan of the SDC 2300. I found the 4500 pissed all over it. But then again the 2300 is fully water proof to 3 meters. Not so the 4500. I get attached to my detectors as most have given me good times which is hard to part with. I could be interested in selling the Manticore. Has a brand new 8” coil unused & still has Minelab factory warranty thru to October. I did get it 2nd hand but hardly been used & I have never used it. Same with the CTX 3030. That comes with a bunch of extras which would cost over 5k to get new. Open to selling that too.

Any way. The 4500.

Excellent condition due to living in a leather control box cover & being totally looked after & not abused. I’m keeping the control box cover for my other 4500. Three coils. 8” Commander mono, 11” DD & 11” mono. Have other options of coils if interested. Just ask.

240 volt charger. Car cigarette lighter plug charger.

Battery harness, like new

De Tacc Super Sound Signal Booster/Enhancer.

Koss Headphones. Like new as I don’t use them. I prefer twin external speakers through an amp.

Minelab detector bag to keep it all together & protected.

The below pic shows the signal enhancer velcroed on to my modded 4500 as an example. This 4500 for sale will need some velcro stuck on to the control box to do this.

Or you could make up a bracket like this that bolts on to the arm cuff bolts.

And hangs down beside the control box to which you velcro the enhancer independent of the control box which allows for a control box cover to go on.

I actually did another bracket that still goes thru the arm cuff bolts but tucks up more under the arm cuff. You will see in the above pic it has velcro on it. The lower bracket was for an EMI cancelling device.

Bracket above & below with enhancer fitted. As you can see this was on my old

GP 3000 but same for the 4500

Wanting around $3500.00

PM me if interested. I have other coil options available too

Cheers
