Being self employed & unable to work, I applied for the wage subsidy & 6 hours later got this massive payout into my bank. There must be a few of you in the same boat. I understand I have to pay tax on that, But it has to last me 12 weeks. Why? the lockdown is 4 weeks. Do I have to pay the remainder back?
The website does not explain this & I cant get through on the ph. Anybody know?
I received the same. To my knowledge we don’t have to pay it back but its supposed to last until we get back on our feet
