New to this so hi everyone. Was looking at the PaM permit maps for the coromandel and noticed a fossicking area inland on the Tairua river and surrounding area. Anyone had a play in that space? its listed as NAA1060_52804.
There are no public fossicking areas anywhere in the North Island. There is a DOC camp ground at Broken Hills, which was a gold mining area back in the day. It is inland on the Tairua River.
