Hi I have a GPZ 7000 for sale it needs new screen which i think you can get from a chap just outside ChCh, I dont have the time to use it and it hasnt had much use, not sure why the screen went grey offers please

Can you put up some pics please of the screen issue. Does it come with all the original bits & pieces & does it just have the one original Minelab 14" coil? How long have you had it. I suppose it is out of warranty?

Hi JW yes everything that came with detector is still there and yes still the 14 inch coil, Ive had for about 5 years and used it very little I would say about five times and yeh the warranty has expired.
I cant upload photos on to my PC for some reason so if you send your phone number I can get photos to you that way

A 2nd hand unit from Aussie should escape GST & tax.
I bought my GP 3000 brand new that I got while in Aussie on holiday. I got the Aussie GST off it but boy, did I get stung when I got back here with it. In fact I had to leave it with customs while they dreamed up a figure I had to pay. I wasn’t happy about that as it meant I had to travel back to Auckland from Whangamata to pick it back up. Wasn’t going to risk postage on my new baby. I can’t recall what I paid in GST & import duties etc. But it was hideous. Lucky I found quite a bit of gold with it over the years. The kind of gold I don’t seem to be able to find any more. But still fun trying.
