Do you mean with cyanide

I use two pans, a snuffer bottle and a warm evenings worth of cold beer. Worked really well for me.

I’m interested. What is involved?

Fine sea salt 30grams dissolved in 150mls boiling distilled water, Distilled white vinegar,5% will do,25mls added, Mix well, let cool to 60celcius, add HNO3 20mls, mix, let stand 5minutes, add in beaker with black sand gold cons aprox 80gram gold cons(the finer gold better!) heat 60C-80C for 4hours, turn off heat, let cool till warm, filter through coffee filter, into another beaker. When filtered add urea prills bit by bit, till no more reaction( Fizzing on prills stops). Add Ascorbic Acid (Vit.C), leave 24hour, filter brown precipitate(Gold) through coffee filter, dry, melt with spinkel of Baking soda and borax, in dish or potato with tourch, slowly till melted, = Gold.

Sounds complicated. But looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks

Think my cold beer approach is simpler

Have to agree with you there SM. Mercury sounds way more simple & less complicated too.
