MMMM Helps to compare apples with apples price wise. Trash pump/pressure volume pump. Trash pump not so good for dredging.

2500 is for a complete setup with compressor , base plate pulleys . Belt . Filter engine and pump .
1500 is a motor and pump.

Riequips price was over phone but it was running too,ya motor is a Honda clone nothing wrong with them I never said there was but it’s still a clone inferior internal parts yah price is a lot more reasonable at $1500 but at $2100 going for a Honda and proline 400 suction pump brand new why would ya as for understanding pumps ya fb thing shows a motor and pump running dry dude replies ya shouldn’t run them dry ya will destroy the bearing and your answer of the bearing isn’t in it says you need to learn about pumps a lot more than I do clown lol backyardhickbuilders.com smfh
There is ceramic SEAL and its perfectly achievable to run it with both halfs of the seal removed. If you think it has a “ceramic BEARING" you need to go kick rocks.
These pumps have no bearings in fact.
But do keep digging

Can i have your blessing before i test fire this motor at home dry with the seal removed ?
Anyone thats ever worked jetboat knows exactly how little a carbon ceramic seal cares about a few start ups dry.
The rear cutless bearing is a different story. Burn that up pretty fast .
