Who has insurance on their dredge, who did you use and what does it cover
Thinking i probably should insure my unit. Fair few dollars to loose if someone decides they want it more than me or a flood gets it.

I lost 90% of my equipment in a huge flood about 9 years ago and because it was a hobby all my gear was covered under home and contents. I was a bitch getting all the quotes for missing gear but we were able thanks to the insurance to replace nearly all of it. They (insurers) did depreciate it a fair bit so important to keep all your receipts for stuff you buy. Got awkward for custom built gear but we got replacement quotes for engineering firms for those items or quotes from Dredge NZ
