A petition to save the Otago Uni geology dept is out…sorry for the short notice but it closes today.
The dept has two highly regarded gold geo’s and to potentially lose their skills from Otago is a bad outcome for mining.

That whole university lay offs is disgraceful. No wonder the country is going down the gurgler. Now it is only going to get worse. WTF is the Government thinking. I don’t think they even know.

The 100 year old Presbyterrian university changing its name from Otago Uni to a Maori scribble. Its doomed. The university is the nexus of our societies ills. Maori didn’t even have a written language, never wrote a book, yet they have taken over the first university in New Zealand. What a joke!
They didn’t have a flag either.

Actually hearing this has stressed me a bit.
