interesting article but I cant see a gold rush happening.
Yeah, was there any follow up to this?
The only follow up Iām aware of was the mining being done by glass earth. They had a large prospecting permit over this area and mining was carried out at matakanui/dry bread. Glass earth then went and sold their assets to another company that is still mining in there at the moment.
L&M mining also did some mining in the little Kyeburn. Not sure they ever got to bottom though.
