Been a few years since I’ve been up that way, but I think the claim owner of the Deep Creek claim where it joins the Wakamarina, had posted a notice saying that you can have a play simple hand tools only. Pan and sluice box allowed? I really can’t remember the exact details and the invite might not be there anymore. Probably worth trying to contact the claim owner first though.
I was the one who put the notice up years ago. I’ve since sold the claim. Unsure what the current owners sentiment is towards things. Also, to entire valley is under one form of permit or another. Tread carefully up there
