Got a puncture up North, was looking for a ‘rock to chock’ and pulled a fragment like that out of the culvert right next to the car! Lammerlaw is looking after it now. Bit of a 12lber from memory?

The one I found measure 7" diameter so would have been the top of a 110lb cannonball from the rifled breech loading 7" armstrong gun, perks of living near gate pa
