Anyone been up to the Bendigo area and done any panning or detecting for Alluvial gold?
I see lots of reef workings and some Alluvial in the gullies.
Always an area I’ve wanted to go and prospect.

Yes I have detected up there & found gold. Lots of hot rocks & lots of rubbish. That is typical of a hard rock gold mining area though.

Lots of mercury in the creekbed depressions too.
