G F L means Giulio Fiocchi Lecco which is in Italy. A very old ammunition company. Very good ammunition as well.

A friend of mine once had a pepper spray pistol that had rounds just like that.

It could be one of two blanks - either a 8mm Salve blank or a 9mm Knall blank.
Used for reinactors, training, training dogs, race starting and so on.
Very similar to what I fire - blanks!

Thanks to your friendly chemist the cannon barrel is still capable of being used, its just the fact that what was once a Gatling gun is now a starters pistol!
