never heard of it until I checked with google but radiolive tonight has a story about anatori goldfields storekeeper Harry Moffatt if anyone is interested. he was there about 1870 so bit of a history lesson.

Spent a week or so up there a fair few years back now… beautiful area. If you follow that track across the river and as far as you can go easily, then walk a little along the beach until rocks there’s some awesome fossils. Remember seeing a perfect small white sea urchin follow in the gradually eroding rock face.
