A “gold detector” for newbies to avoid! Already reported this to Trademe but they did nothing about it… Now he’s blacklisted me so I can’t spam him with questions haha 
Trademe won’t care. They just want their commission on a sale.
These are a scam. Also known as Long Range Locators. These have been around for years. Funny how no mining companies use or promote them. You would have more luck with divining rods.

Trademe is not interested in fair deals or administering to a ‘healthy’ Trading site. Theres an arsehole who twice now has presented guns for sale with the claim that these two guns - a Whitworth Rifle and a Needlefire rifle are more or less unique and in one case the only one in New Zealand - he wants around $140,000 for them - thats $135,000 more than they are worth. Now thats a scam. I have warned Trademe many times about this scum sucking turd but they dont care - as Kiwijw said they are only after their commission.
I have also told them that if they dont remove the listing then they are guilty of compicity in the scam by allowing it to remain.
Any way can anyone enlighten me about these detectors? What would the vendor have paid for it? Has he found that it was in fact useless so hes trying to pass it on? His feedback certainly isnt too bad.
It sounds just like the miracle I need as it has all these fancy devices!

Hi Mr Lammerlaw. It would be my guess this guy got sucked in & ripped off & is trying to recoup his money, or some of it. These usually are more than what he is asking. I bet he never found the gold he said he found. The pics he has put up are just from the source he most likely got it from. No pics of him using it or the gold he supposedly found. I call BS. Like I said, no mining company has raved as to how good these are, no body has for that matter. Keep well away.
