8inch Gold Dredge build finished and ready to be put to use!

I have been working on this 8inch gold dredge build off and on for the past couple of months and it is now finished and ready for the river! It has everything you could want

-twin electric start motors with p350s pumps (compressor motor has a bigger fuel tank)

-hot water for two divers (including a mixing tank and all stainless steel construction and built in house)

-air for two diver with 35liter reserve tank

-electric priming system

-on-board clean up sluice (priming system and clean up sluice are run by a 2000 gph bilge pump fitted to an adjustable rise and fall bracket)

-woven mesh over expended metal for 3/4 of the sluice and riffle/nugget trap at the back, sitting on top of non-back moss with carpet under. Broken up into four sections for lite and easy clean ups and all head in with over-center latches (sluice is 2400x710mm)

-Anti boating flap to stop the sluice pushing the dredging forward on you

-Full alloy frame construction. Position and front height of sluice is fully adjustable to change angle in different conditions of use.

-A bollard and tie off point with shackle for lifting, towing or overnight tie offs, bollards are for quick and easy rope and dredge position adjustment while in use

- Lachlan Westrupp Flare and power jet

-Camlock fitting on pressure hoses for easy break down

- Winch to lift and lower flare and jet

-Alloy and stainless steel foot valves

And a custom trailer to suit

Also a few pictures of my massive 6inch dredge with many of the same features and more, including a hotted up motor with 20litre custom fuel cell, 3 stage sluice with 4m of total sluice length and lots more!

I have time to build a few of these dredges over winter, so get in contact now to reserve a spot, only building out of dredging season!

Wicked looking machine, I especially like the way you have mounted all the air and water connectors into one spot, very easy for the diver to deal with

I am so happy that finally there is a person that is building dredges here in NZ, there is also a huge demand for hot water systems, great to see well built dredges that will stand the test of time, congratulations

Cheers for the comment, I have only ever built my own dredges since getting into gold and enjoy it just as much as dredging.
