I would say that if hes as honest as the day is long then it will not be long before it is back with its owner as it is distinctive if not unique and I know that if I found it I would not count myself lucky until it had been handed in, there were no claimants, and it was given back to me. Only then would I feel lucky.
Terrific find though and should it be returned to the owner I would like to think that the owner would gift him a couple of hundred for honesty.

Yep hopefully someone can recognize it and it gets back to the rightful owner, I would feel sick if I lost that! But if not then yes he is a very lucky chap
