Sorry to be a killjoy but Legally there are no fossicking sights in the nth island , which is a pitty as Information on nth island deposits isn’t to hard to find with a lil research , but I should warn you once armed with that information the temptation to discreetly do some scratching around out of sight with a pan , crevicing tools & small discrete shovel that can fit in your pac could be to great , so don’t do it …
