Love the battle axe. It is an important historical find and clear indication that the theory that Celts arrived here first is all twaddle and hogswash…it clearly proves beyond any doubt that tiny Viking Leprechauns arrived here first.
In all seriousness though that’s the nicest and most unique piece of gold I have seen detected yet. I would be treasuring that over and above a gold coin even if it’s gold content is not as high. It’s totally ace.
