Any highbankers for sale

Looking for a highbanker can swap for gold Otago/Southland preferably

I would but only sell them for pick up/drop off Canterbury/West Coast mate

Would you be interested in something like this with 2 inch suction nozzle? Can also bucket or shovel material into it using the spray bars to wash material through. Can also set up with the flare attachment & run as a sluice box. I had a look at Dredge NZ & they didn’t seem to have the same set up. They have a smaller bilge pump set up as just a kind of highbanker.

Prices I see from America are about NZ 4,500 & that isn’t including postage. What would you be prepared to pay if this interests you?

I’m in Queenstown.

So a week ago I reached out to this Sean59 guys request for Any Highbankers For Sale. Putting up photos as in my post above. The guy has not had the manners or decency to reply or acknowledge what I had on offer to him either directly to my post or via a PM. No “thanks mate but I have acquired a unit”. No thanks but no thanks. Just nothing. Pretty piss poor & disappointing in my book & bad form.

He may not visit the site regularly John. Sean sent me a P.M, t’was I who only just replied to his message.

I do like your set-up though, would’ve enquired about purchasing was I not already selling High bankers from time-to-time :+1:t2:

P.s - purchased some old-school (100, 160 & 350 GPM) Eldorado pumps from a bloke in Victoria last week. Pretty sure they’d be over 25 years old, all in really good condition too. They’ll be going “straight to the pool room” until I need them :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

He visited long enough to ask the question. You think if he was serious that he would keep an eye out for replies to his request. Otherwise why bother asking?

No mate, I’m all good. Thanks anyway. It is strange you would put out your request then bugger off for a week. Strangely I aren’t a mind reader. I waited a week for a reply & got nothing so naturally thought you obviously weren’t serious about getting a highbanker, but that’s all good. I have been deliberating about whether I really want to part with this anyway as I doubt there are many like this in the country. But if the price was right… I have actually made my own set up that I prefer as it is a bit smaller & a lot easier to back pack into areas.

Hope you got something when out hunting. Deer I assume. My son took all of April off work to go hunting during the roar. He is a bow hunter. Likes the fact it is more challenging & requires a lot more skill with having to stalk to get real close to get a shot away. Bit different to blowing one away from hundreds of meters away with a high powered rifle. Not always successful but he managed to get a couple.

Any way, good luck out there & good luck in getting a highbanker.
