I don’t know if this has been mentioned before but there are a series of videos on you tube which I have fond very enjoyable. It’s based on the Fraser River in British Columbia and the guy is prospecting various parts of his claims with the later intention of bringing some machinery in.
Well worth a look, he is the real McCoy and it is a good, albeit temporary, cure for gold fever.
