Cosmo's finds enjoy

Hey guy’s hit a good line tonight 5 silver’s, got the thrup trifecta 1919 Australian, 1926 British and 1946 NZ. 1 penny, 3 half’s (pitty 1911 Australian cut in half) and a part of valve steam cover.

Happy hunting and good luck out there.

Thanks Roy, I will keep thrashing this spot and I’m sure it will cough up a biggie.

Haven’t seen a Trifecta from one spot before - Nice.

Done with the 3d…Now onto the 6d’s and then we want to see half crowns… :sunglasses:

More research pointing to 1930’s, I thought it was older too.

Yep - They’re 1930-1940 sort of era. Found a few over the years near old railway houses.

This one came from hagley, hundred meters or so from old tram lines.

Hey guy’s here’s my results for a quickie after work. A 1925 thrup in nice condition and a 1898 Vicky penny, love digging anything 1800’s even the pennies.

Happy hunting & good luck out there.

If you ever get that compass shined up well I’d love to see a pic, it’s a fantastic find. Any chance it still works?

Na it’s buggered GP, might clean it up one day.

Never found a penny pre 1900, so that would be a biggie for me. cant wait - one day.
Nice finds.
